I use to like to walk the straight and narrow line. I use to think that everything was fine. Sometimes I sit and gaze for days through sleepless-
His hand lazily pressed the off button and the nice sounds of styx diminished. Jude didn't like to continuously press snooze. It only delayed his day from beginning sooner. His back arched, his hands stretched out and he gave a low groan as his body slowly began to work. He got out of bed and went around his apartment, opening up the blinds in his room, then in his living room, and the small one in his kitchen. He liked the sunlight. It was beautiful and it would help him wake up more.
He went to his refridgerator to grab a bit to eat. Nothing. No milk, no eggs, no sausage, nothing. Not even non-breakfast food.
"Oh yea..." He said as he frowned at the empty fridge. He had meant to go shopping but he had got so lost in his work last night that he had forgotten all about groceries and eating. Perhaps that's why he was so incredibly hungry right now.
The only other option was to go out and eat. It was a day off for him so there was no need to rush things. That was the beautiful thing about not having work. Just being able to relax and do what you please. And not have to worry about people.
Having a shower and combing through his hair, he put on a pair of faded black jeans, a white t-shirt with a navy blue sweater. A pair of brown doc martins on his feet and he was ready to roll. He wasn't up to date of the worlds fashion nor did he care to be. He was comfortable and he thought he looked alright, so that's all that matters.
His feet carried him out of the apartment and out onto the sidewalk. His hands found their way into his pockets to keep warm. He stopped abruptely and looked at his shoulder. The bag he usually carried with him was not there. How could he forget that? It had to be the sleep. He turned around hopped up the steps and grabbed his bag in his apartment. Opening it to make sure his sketchpad, notebook, and camera were there. Must haves on a daily basis. If he had a creative urge he always had to be ready. Now he could leave.
Feet down the sidewalk again he made his way into monk's cafe. Coffee sounded nice this morning. He wasn't too sure what else but the coffee sounded great. Sitting at a small table by the door making sure he was by a window, he ordered himself a coffee with vanilla added, and looked down to see what else his stomach would like to consume this morning.

Laying on her double bed, Bridgette was blasting her music trying to wake up. Currently the song 'Misery Business' but Paramore was on. It was like 9 in the morning and Bridgette had the strongest urge for coffee. Sitting up and throwing her legs over the side of the bed, she sat there, drumming her nails on the edge, biting the corner of her lip. She did want coffee that much was certain. But did she really want to be go alone? Not really. So she sat there debating for a few moments. No one she knew would willingly be up at this hour on a weekend, so why even bother calling them? Exactly. So I guess that makes the going with someone option out.
Sighing she pushed herself up off her bed gently and made her way towards her closet. Pushing the moving door to the side, so her closet was fully viewable, she smirked to herself as she grabbed a pair of jeans and a cute pink shirt. Slipping them on, she then made her way to the bathroom. Stopping in front of the mirrior, she reached for her brush without even having to look down at it to know where it was, and brushed through her blonde locks, deciding to keep it down today. Starting on her make-up next, she decided to keep it simple, just a little masscara and lip gloss this morning. Besides she didn't expect to see anyone she knew out at Monk's. Not this early anyways. Most of her friends weren't early risers like she was.
Once she was done with everything she needed to do in the bathroom, she went back into her room and headed to the foot of her bed where she black ballet flats were and slipped them on. Next, she needed to grab her keys, so that she did and within a few seconds time, she was out the door. Locking her dormroom before leaving the building. She didn't trust people here enough to leave her door unlocked. Too many stupid people at this school that just did whatever the hell they felt like.
ANYWAYS.
Walking just down a couple blocks to Monk's she smiled to herself as she finally made it. Looking in as she swiftly moved passed the big window in front. As she walked through the door, the little bell overhead rang, and the smell of coffee and baked goods filled her nostrils which caused her to smell again. Hazel optics danced around the room as she looked for an empty place to sit. But she soon got distracted by a familiar looking head. Coming up behind Jude, she heard him order his vanilla coffee from the waitress and knew it was him. She never forgets a voice, especially one she knew so well. When Jude looked back down the menu in his hands, Brie smiled, stepping around the waitress, "I here their pies and muffins are really good." she offered her suggestion, figuring he was looking for some actual type of food to eat. And while she had voiced her suggestion, she took it upon herself to sit down across from him, a smile curling her pretty face as she looked at her friend, waiting for him to notice her presence. And once he had, her smile grew into a toothy sweet grin, and a simple "Hi." came from her lips.

So many pastries. Was a good thing since Jude absolutely loved sweets. A muffin would probably be his choice. Blueberry. Or maybe chocolate chip. Blueberry chocolate chip? Could possibly be worth trying.
He heard a voice. Suggesting the pies and muffins. He knew that voice but didn't bother to look up. A soft frown was on his face though because that voice was still ringing in his ears. The empty chair infront of him moved causing him to look up. A small smirk came to his lips as his eyes secretly danced with excitement. But of course. Bridgette. One of his few close friends.
"Hey." He said, the smirk widening into a smile. He couldn't help it. He did enjoy her company. And she was beautiful. He had drawings on her that he did when she crossed his mind. Nothing she knew though. She may find it creepy but her face was unforgettable and he seemed to make art out of it with such ease...
"I think I may go with a muffin."

As Brie sat down, she smiled when Jude finally looked up, and noticed her presence and said hello back. He quickly looked back down again though, determined to find something to eat she guessed, and this made her laugh under her breath. He must be really hungry, but then again, it was good he was trying to decide quickly because you never want a waitress to get irritated at you. They might spit in your food or something. When he finally announced he'd have a muffin, Bridge wasn't sure if he was saying it to her or the waitress, so she just stayed quiet for the time being.
The waitress on the other hand, smiled sweetly at Jude and asked "What kind would you like?" She waited patiently for his answer and once he had told her his choice, she looked over to Bridgette and smiled now at her. "And for you miss?" she asked kindly. Brigdette didn't even need to look at a menu, she knew what she wanted right off the bat. "I'll have a White Chocolate Mocha, with caramel added. And a Blueberry muffin please." she told the waitress with a smile. Once the waitress left with their orders Brie looked across to Jude, and smiled. He was adorable in the morning, not that he wasn't any other time, but right now he had that sort of tired puppydog look going. Not something he would want to hear though, hence why she kept that thought to herself. "So how are you this morning?" she asked him, trying to start a conversation.

Jude decided he would get two muffins being that he was finding it hard to decide on which one. More difficult than he thought it would be. So he would just get both. His stomach wouldn't mind and why not? Not like he was watching his weight or anything.
"I'm doing alright. I'm off today so I guess I'm a bit more happier than usual." He said, "And what about you? How are you? I guess it was meant for my house to not have any food this mornin'." He said with a small laugh. "Or else I wouldn't be here right now and well... I wouldn't have ran into you." Life did have its ways of working things out to happen at just the right moments. Even if you don't realize it which most of the time you never do. One simple thing like not having any groceries in his house caused him to be able to meet up with his friend. A friend that he liked very much. He usually liked to be alone but he never did mind Brie's company. Never.

Listening to his answer about how he was this morning, Brie nodded in understanding, a smile constantly glued to her face. "Thats cool. she said to the fact of him actually having a weekend day off from his job. When he asked about her, and how she was, she smirked and shrugged, "I'm doing alright. It's the weekend and I have no homework so I'm happy about that." she felt a little funny talking to Jude about school since he was no longer in it, but school and soccer and her friends were her life right now so she wouldn't avoid the subjects with him. Especially with them being so close.
When he said the thing about how it was probably a good thing he didn't have food in his house or he wouldn't have run into her. Or well, her into him actually, she couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, that is a good thing we both got out of you not having food in your house." she said with a small giggle. "For me. I was just craving coffee." she told him, even though he didn't ask. One of her bad habits, always speaking her opinions or just random input when not asked. "I guess you need to go shopping then huh?" she more stated then asked, a small smirk curling her lips. She ran one of her hands through her blonde locks, her hazel eyes dancing from Jude to around the coffee shop, seeing if they waitress was coming yet with their food or not. Nope. So she then shifted her eyes quickly back to Jude.

"No homework is a good thing." He said with a small nodd. His leg bouncing softly under the table. He was happy, and hungry. Odd combination because he felt his boy getting cranky but his happiness was sort of overriding that. He was out of school but he did remember the joys of not doing any homework. That was nice. Jude always did his homework when in school. He was one of the odd ones that didn't drop out because they were a bad seed or had horrible grades, he just got bored. And it never bothered him when Brie talked about school. He enjoyed hearing her talk about school or anything associated with her life.
"I was craving coffee also but I didn't have any at home." He laughed. "So yea, I guess i need to go shopping. I don't have money to keep eating out as much as I'd like to. Always nice to have someoene else cook things for you and you can just sit and talk to pretty girls" He said chucking once again.

"It tis, it tis." she agreed smiling. Bridge wasn't one of the students like Jude was, that does their homework in class. Well she's not one to finish it anyways. She started it sometimes. Like in math or English, starting her homework in class was easy, but she never could finish it.
Brie didn't know why Jude ever dropped out of school, because as far as she knew, he was a good student, and he did everything he was suppose to. But that was his personal life, and she never bothered to ask. She didn't want to inturd(sp) on his life or choices.
When he stated he was craving coffee too, she smirked. Nice to know she wasn't the only one that had caffeine cravings. "Ahh. I see. Well then, yes I'd say you definitely need to go shopping so you can have some at your house when you want or need it." she agreed once again, nodding as if to confirm her point. Since Bridgette lived on the school's campus in a dorm, she really didn't need to worry keeping a big fridge full of foods. She had too mini ones but that's no where near as close to how much food an actual one could hold. "I guess there are perks to living in a dorm sometimes. You never really have to go grocery shopping." she said with a bit of laughter between her words. As she took in the part about how he would like to eat out a lot and get to talk to pretty girls, aka her at the moment, she bit the inside of her lip. "That would be nice to be able to do all the time. And your just too nice" she said with a sweet smirk as she placed one of her hands under her chin, cupping her face.
After about a minute of silence Bee was about to go nuts. She waited silence, it made everything awkward. "Soo..- Oh! Food!" she trailed off about to say something but that's when she noticed the waitress bringing their drinks and muffins and she got all excited. Ridiculous I know, but she was hungry. She mumbled a 'Thanks" to the waitress and then picked off a piece of her muffin and ate it. Savoring the taste as it went into her tummy. And without even realizing it, a small "Mmm" escaped her lips, it was so good. Then she decided to continue with asking her question, "So, where are you working now-a-days anyways?" she was curious about that, and hopefully it wasn't a too personal of a question to ask him.

"I'm not to nice"He said with a smile looking away for a momnet as he brushed his hand through his hair. "I just like to speak the truth." He said looking back at her again.
Her face lit up after the akward silience when the smell of muffins danced closer and closer. Muffins and coffee was really an incredibly delightful smell. He thanked the waitress and began to eat his muffin but couldn't contain his laughter when he heard "mmmm" Coming from Brie's mouth.
"Well then. I guess you're enjoying youself" He said with a big grin, then bit into his blueberry muffin. He wanted to make that same noise but refrained from doing so. "It is pretty good though." He said laughing again. Her mmm was still ringing in his ears.
"I'm not working anywhere right now. I quit my job. I got an offer to work at some tattoo shop but I don't know.." He said, frowning n thought. He didn't know if he wanted to make a living out of that even though he knew he could do it... He use to work as a waitor but his boss worked his last nerve. So sometime last week he threw his apron at the guy and left. The maddest he had been in a while. He knew a guy at a tattoo shop that liked Judes work, but he didnt know. But he had to think fast because the money he had saved up was leaving quickly.

Bee smiled at his reply to her comment about him being too nice. Just telling the truth? she repeated in her head. "Thanks hun." She did believe him, but she just never really thought of herself as being really pretty - even though she is one of the most beautiful girls you'd ever meet, inside and out. Brie just always thought of herself as more, decent or maybe a little above average, but she never let herself become conceited with how she thought of herself.
Hearing Jude laugh softly at her little moan of pleasure, she couldn't help but giggle herself, placing her hand over her mouth, so he wouldn't see the food in her mouth if she accidently opened her mouth. Her muffin was definitely delicious and she was glad to hear Jude agreeded. "Mhmm." she agreed before tearing off another, slightly larger piece of her muffin and plopping it into her mouth.
Once Jude started to explain how he didn't have job and that he quit his waitering job, Bridgette then understood why he didn't have any food in his house, he probably didn't have much money to go shopping with. "A tattooing gig huh? That sounds like it would be fun. I hear they make decent money too, well, as long as your good." she replied to his statement about his tattoo job offer. "Why don't you know if you want to do it?" she asked him, interested in his reasoning.

"Well," He began, but his mouth wanted the muffin more than it wanted to speak. So he fed his craving and followed it closely by a swig of vanilla coffee. So good. And to think he actually had another muffin to eat too! The chocolate chip one that he was so curious to taste.
"I do like my art and maybe one day I'll be like an artist or something. But I never really thought of making art on... on people. I think I'd be good at it but it just wasn't something I had in mind... Well I never thought I'd be a waiter either but I was one... And I am sort of running out of money..."
He took another bite, his eyes looking down at the plate while he thought. His answer was leaning more and more towards being a yes. It was good money but it just seemed like it would be a job that he felt he had to do. Not because he wanted to. But it was pushing more towards something he loved so it shouldn't be that bad. He sighed and shrugged.
"I dunno."
